Walking towards Target, I lock the car, and give Dimples and Giggles my hands to hold.
Me: I have two little princesses (I croon)
Dimples: Holding your hands
Me: Holding my hands
Dimples: One has a doll in her hand
Me: One has french fries in her hand
Dimples: One is wearing a green dress
Me: One is wearing a pink one
Dimples: And another princess in the middle.
Her name is Mama

I love it! Me and my daughter make up songs all the time. I will miss them....
ReplyDeleteWe have a couple of songs and I think Poonch is starting to get embarrassed of them. Sob...
ReplyDeleteSo sing them while you still can!
Isn't that sweet?!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to be a princess. Even when you're all grown up :)
That is so sweet. I cherish those moments too.
ReplyDeleteYou know, it's all fun and games until one day? When they're all grown up (-ish)? And at school or something? And you find yourself singing a song in the aisles of the supermarket ALL. BY. YOURSELF?
ReplyDeleteYeah. That part's not so cute. Especially if it's a Barney song. Do they still have Barney these days, or did someone finally shoot him?
SWEET!
ReplyDeleteI love princess of all kinds, big and small!
And I love the fact that our little girls truly FEEL like princesses. Wish I did the same...
I remember I wrote a post about this... If you have the time you might enjoy to read:

A song to walk from the car......too cute!
ReplyDeleteThis was extempore. The last line made me smile.
ReplyDeleteThat melted my heart. Super cute.
