She has recently started talking about her dreams.
Dimples: I dreamed a dream, Mama.
Me: What was it, baby?
Dimples: I dreamed that I was doing ballet at home.
Hubby: Really? What were you wearing?
Dimples: My ballet clothes. My ballet tutu, and my ballet shoes, and my ballet shirt, and my ballet backpack.
Hubby: Do you have a ballet backpack?
Me: No, she saw that in her dream.
Hubby: Oh, okay. So you had a backpack in your dream, but not in real life, right?
Dimples: Yes, but you know what? Life is but a dream! (giggles contagiously)
Maybe I should sign her up for the ballet classes again.

Yes... and get her a ballet backpack so she can arrive like the prima ballerina she is :)
ReplyDeleteThose pictures are as sweet as can be. There is nothing cuter than little girls doing ballet.
Sign her up. I am thinking about signing my daughter up this summer. And don't forget the backpack.
ReplyDeleteHugs and Mocha,

Aw, LOVE the pics!! Sign her up, for sure.
ReplyDelete"Life is but a dream!"
ReplyDeleteSo true! Out of the mouths of babes. Definitely sign her up!
Okay, first, I hadn't realized until now that I'm not technically, formally following your blog. I read it!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it weird when your kid's dreams start to make some semblance of sense, and aren't just a bunch of craziness they're making up as they recount the "dream"?

OMG Jenny Penny! That is adorable. Thanks so much :)
ReplyDeleteGive the girl ballet lessons. The dimples deserve to dance.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom enrolled me in ballet classes when I was only 4 years old. I stayed with it until highschool. Looking back, those were some of my best memories from my childhood.
ReplyDeleteI hope your daughter finds as much joy dancing as I once did.
